The short time space between the launches might be the reason why all the phones look identical.

The specifications of the Toshiba TG02 and TG03 were revealed last week, but images were absent, and could not confirm the rumours. The new images are blurred, which induce the same amount of doubt.

The TG03, which would come in a rather new silver metallic look is rumoured to come with a 5 megapixel camera, and 3 channel sound support. The GPS has not been mentioned for this unit. The phone will also come with a new feature related to videos, VideoBox, which is not yet detailed in terms of functionality.

The entire line will run on the fast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, have a overly huge 4.1" touchscreen display, and measure 9.9mm thin only. The TG02 and TG03 will be available by Q4 2009.

A new line is also said to launch by end of 2009. The K01, K02, and L01 are phones which haven't been announced yet, and rather resemble concept devices, but are well detailed in Toshiba's roadmap.

The Toshiba K01 has the same display size and processor as the TG01, but the display features capacitive technology, which confirms past rumours that Windows Mobile 6.5 will indeed support capacitive touchscreen displays. The device will also have a 3.2 megapixel camera and HSPA connectivity.

Lastly, the L01 does not seem to be a smartphone, but a MID (Mobile Internet Device), similar to Nokia's Internet Tablets, only bigger, because the L01 is said to have a large 7" touchscreen, which might as well place it among netbooks. The device will also have a kickstand, and a detachable QWERTY keyboard.
